Uniform Code

Girls -

1. Plain navy or red collared polo shirts (shirts must be tucked in).

2. Solid colored navy or red cardigans or sweatshirts, no writing, no designs except St. Mary School official logo. NO hooded sweatshirts.

3. Khaki, navy blue or black Capri pants or walking shorts, must be no more than 3” above the knee. (No gray, stripes or sweats.)

4. All girls may wear navy blue or khaki uniform skirts or jumpers, they must be no more than 3' above the knee. If worn in Nov-March, white or navy tights must be worn under it.

5. Khaki, navy blue or black pants. (No gray, stripes, sweats, etc.)

6. No excessive pockets, zippers, baggy pants, etc.

7. No dangling jewelry, make-up, distracting headbands, belts or sashes.

8. Students in grades K-2 may wear  shorts with elastic waist bands to aid in restroom utilization.

Boys -

4. Khaki, navy blue or black pants. (No gray, stripes, sweats, athletic pants, etc.)

5. No excessive pockets, zippers, baggy pants, etc.

6. Students in grades K-2 may wear elastic waist bands to aid in restroom utilization

Shoes: For health and safety reasons, shoes should be worn with socks and be securely fastened. Sandals may be worn, but no shoes/sandals without backs, for safety reasons.

Shorts: Students may wear during the months of August, September, April and May, hemmed walking shorts, Bermuda shorts (1”-3” above the knee) of solid khaki, navy blue or black. NO denim, fleece, sweatpants or biking shorts. The girls may wear Capri pants during these months.

Physical Education: The shoes children wear for physical education should be the kind that will not mark the gym floor.

Please mark all removable clothing (sweatshirts, coats, hats, gloves, etc, with your child’s name. This ensures that it will be returned to you if placed in the lost and found.
